We had a wonderful Christmas morning.

Kayci was here and Cody & Laurie came over early to watch Jesse open his presents. And to open theirs. We had cinnamon rolls (though the kids were disappointed that Walt didn't make his traditional Monkey Bread) and lots of love and laughter.

I am so grateful for my children, grandchild, & hubby.

We are so blessed to have Jesse living with us at this time ~

I love to see Christmas through his eyes.

Jesse is so excited, his mom is here, Cody and Laurie are coming over and of course it's CHRISTMAS tomorrow!

Yea! We are so getting ready for Christmas! It's hard to be "scroogie" when there's a kid in the house. Jesse convinced Grampa to put up the lights last weekend ("I'll help Grampa, I promise") and then convinced us to put up the tree also. Jesse did most of the decorating, with a little rearranging by Gramma. He even let me take his picture with the Santa hat on. It's cold outside - now if it would just SNOW!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Cody & Laurie came over, Kayci came up, and Mom, Dad, Rick, Ryan, Nicole & Aubri came up. I'm glad they all made the long drive up here! It was so fun watching Aubri following Jesse around the way Jesse used to follow Ryan around (and the way Ryan used to follow Cody around!) They played really well together. She is such a cutie! And so smart. We had a great visit and wonderful food. (so much of it too!) I am so thankful for all of my family, I wish we ALL could have been together.
