My J ~ the most important thing in my life..

I've met some awesome people lately. They would all just say they're just doing what needs to be done, but they are so inspiring to me, with their patience, understanding, compassion, and the fact that they totally "get" it. They are all parents of special needs kids. All types of special needs, from Autism and Downs to severe mental and physical handicaps. Not one of them complains about the extra hardships, but embrace them. They all find ways to open their hearts to others also, handicapped or not. Yes, I've met some wonderful new friends that I am so proud to know - I feel as if I'm among angels when with them, and am so blessed to know there are others to help us deal with our "little issues" with gratitude in our hearts.

I so totally love this angel with the big chocolate eyes!



School's almost over for the Summer!

 Just 2 more days after today and the fun can begin! First item on Jesse's list is the CABIN. We also have a Dback game in July and hope to make it to SeaWorld sometime this Summer. We're hoping for a great relaxing Summer break. We also plan on swimming, spending some time with Cassie, and just hanging out.

Walt found this little critter on the back porch. Actually the snake found him, and crawled onto his hand. Freaked us both out. Jesse wouldn't even look at it through the screen door. J kept screaming "you can't tell if it's a rattlesnake when it's a baby!" We think it's just a little bull snake, but we're not really sure. Any way he has a new home in the field behind our yard.
