I love my (grandson) Jesse ~ he is wonderfully unique. Jesse has such a thirst for knowledge. He wants to know EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING.. which is great. To a point. But there are days (like today) when he needs to know RIGHT NOW, why.. "why did Heavenly Father make some people look different? why are Indians called Indians if they're not from India? could you swim from Alaska to Russia like it shows on my globe? how deep is the ocean? what do sharks eat? why is the ocean salty? do ladies wear those covers over their faces in some countries because they're ugly? why do people in China have different looking eyes? why don't wild kangaroos live in Arizona? what year were garbage trucks invented? were you alive when cars were invented? did Adam & Eve have dinosaurs? how do you say (insert your own word here) in Chinese? French? Russian?" These are just a few of the things he has to know today!Right now! I'm trying to get him to focus on one thing at a time, but some days his mind just jumps all over the place! Life is never dull around here ~ we are so blessed to have such a smart, inquisitive little guy living with us right now! We love you Jess, never change!
