My photo
This is more of a photo scrapbook and a place to write (and vent) my thoughts and feelings and brag about my grandkids.. I am a 60 something wife, mom & grandma. I've been married to my best friend Walt since 1977. The most important thing in my life is family. We have been blessed with some great kids, our daughter Kayci, son Cody, our awesome grandson Jesse, our precious granddaughters Cassandra and Chelsea and our newest grandson John. We are currently raising our grandson Jesse and dealing with things such as Autism & ADHD. We have lived in northern Arizona for most of the last 35 years and love it here. We've had our ups & downs ~ but life is good... I'll add a little here - my sweetheart and best friend Walt passed away unexpectedly January 8, 2014. He will be missed by many.

Moving Sucks!
kinda, sorta, I guess...

I really have mixed emotions about our move. I will miss the house we've been in for the last 17 years.. the one we raised our kids in, the one Jesse has lived in all his life. There are lots of memories (good & bad) but I guess we need to move on. The new house is much smaller, and different than what we are used to, but it is a blessing to have this opportunity for Walt so he can quit working so many hours, and so we will be able to save for retirement. (are we really getting that old?) Jesse has so much more room to ride his bike and scooter, and he loves helping grandpa with his security rounds. The actual moving.. well let's just say I'm pulling my hair out. What to keep, what to trash, what to give away, do I really need this? where will I put that? to use or to store? and on and on.  You'd be surprised how much junk can accumulate over time.
We have views at the new house ~ beautiful or ugly ~ depending on where you look.. Granite Dells on one side, Thumb Butte on the other, a natural vegetation area out back (we've already seen quail, blue jays, and rabbits) or the county parking lot out one side & sheriff's parking lot out the front...

Thumb Butte (you can kind of see it through the fence)

Anyway, it's a new chapter in our lives, a new adventure,
and who knows what blessings will come.

I didn't know you were moving! It is hard. We're also going through a move right now, and it's hard. And stressful. I need a nap.
