This is more of a photo scrapbook and a place to write (and vent) my thoughts and feelings and brag about my grandkids.. I am a 60 something wife, mom & grandma. I've been married to my best friend Walt since 1977. The most important thing in my life is family. We have been blessed with some great kids, our daughter Kayci, son Cody, our awesome grandson Jesse, our precious granddaughters Cassandra and Chelsea and our newest grandson John. We are currently raising our grandson Jesse and dealing with things such as Autism & ADHD. We have lived in northern Arizona for most of the last 35 years and love it here. We've had our ups & downs ~ but life is good... I'll add a little here - my sweetheart and best friend Walt passed away unexpectedly January 8, 2014. He will be missed by many.

I am thankful for...
Jesse and I were able to make it up to Oregon to visit Cody, Laurie and sweet baby Chelsea for Thanksgiving. I wanted a change - the Holidays are going to be hard this year, so I decided to do something totally different, something that wouldn't remind me of Walt every second.. So Cody cooked and carved the turkey and we got to visit with our sweet girl.
We got to visit the Redwoods and Brookings Oregon which is on the beach, and had an all around good time. I think one of my favorite memories was of Cody & Jesse singing along with Cookie Monster and doing the "Elmo Shuffle" to entertain the baby. (too bad I didn't get a picture of that!) I was glad I was able to be there with Chelsea during her first visit with Santa. She was all smiles and didn't even fuss once.
I missed being with Kayci & Cassie so I have Cassie with me for a few days now. I am so thankful for my kids and grandkids, I am truly blessed.
