My photo
This is more of a photo scrapbook and a place to write (and vent) my thoughts and feelings and brag about my grandkids.. I am a 60 something wife, mom & grandma. I've been married to my best friend Walt since 1977. The most important thing in my life is family. We have been blessed with some great kids, our daughter Kayci, son Cody, our awesome grandson Jesse, our precious granddaughters Cassandra and Chelsea and our newest grandson John. We are currently raising our grandson Jesse and dealing with things such as Autism & ADHD. We have lived in northern Arizona for most of the last 35 years and love it here. We've had our ups & downs ~ but life is good... I'll add a little here - my sweetheart and best friend Walt passed away unexpectedly January 8, 2014. He will be missed by many.

Jesse and I had an awesome day!
First we went to Peter Piper where we;

ate pizza

played games

and cashed in tickets!
then on the way home..

we stopped at the lake

Do you ever feel this way?
Between sports
(basketball, football, baseball, golf, bowling, doesn't matter-it's on)
and kid shows (also doesn't matter-it's on)
the television drives me crazy!
I don't want to really change the channel ~ just turn it off!

Just some random thoughts...
Our Primary program was last Sunday, it was great, as they always are.. from the cute ~ the Sunbeam who wants her family to "be a turtle" (be eternal) to the awesome ~ we have some wonderfully talented musicians in Primary (children) who play piano & flute...

I'm listening to Jesse and grandpa discussing sports, the finer points of basketball, football, and of course the World Series (Jesse calls it the world serious) Jess wants the Yankees to win, Walt wants the Phillies to win ~ we'll see what happens...

I had to make the long drive to the Valley today for a Dr. appt. I do NOT like that drive alone... I don't know how Rick, Danny, & Cody can drive long distance and alone for their jobs so much...

It's great having Jesse back up here again, we've really missed him, quirks and all. I saw a saying the other day "Autism ~ seeing the world from a different angle" so true...

And finally...
Have you ever had one of those days where you just know this ---

A wish for a wonderful Birthday
to our sweet daughter-in-law Laurie
We love you!
