My photo
This is more of a photo scrapbook and a place to write (and vent) my thoughts and feelings and brag about my grandkids.. I am a 60 something wife, mom & grandma. I've been married to my best friend Walt since 1977. The most important thing in my life is family. We have been blessed with some great kids, our daughter Kayci, son Cody, our awesome grandson Jesse, our precious granddaughters Cassandra and Chelsea and our newest grandson John. We are currently raising our grandson Jesse and dealing with things such as Autism & ADHD. We have lived in northern Arizona for most of the last 35 years and love it here. We've had our ups & downs ~ but life is good... I'll add a little here - my sweetheart and best friend Walt passed away unexpectedly January 8, 2014. He will be missed by many.

I thought instead of whining, I would count my blessings for a change. I have the most wonderful parents who would do anything for me, (and have) I have awesome children and grandchildren that I love very much, a sister who is also my close friend - one who has always been there for me and doesn't judge. I was married to my best friend for almost 37 years and had a great life with him. I have my health (more or less) and all my fingers and toes ;)   A car that runs, a roof over my head, and food on the table.  I also have a wonderful extended family - it was so wonderful to meet with my parents, daughter & grandkids, my sister, one of her daughters, her son and daughter-in-law, and 3 of her sweet granddaughters & also my brother, 2 of his daughters & sons-in-law, and 1 of his sweet granddaughters last weekend. We had a great visit and it was awesome watching mom & dad (Gramma & Papa) with some of their great grandkids. The girls - my mom, sister, 2 of my nieces & I went to the Temple on Saturday, what a wonderful experience it was. No, things haven't changed, I'm still stressed and depressed, I'm still whiny and short-tempered, But I know I have a family that loves me, and a Heavenly Father that blesses me, and for this I am grateful.
